En Plein Air

These were inspire by Claude Monet’s “Woman in garden” from1867, which is housed I believe, at the Hermitage, St. Petersburg.  One of the greatest impressionists, in my mind. I tried to capture the light and mood as quickly as possible. More like a sketch, which is how the impressionist worked. Speed was of the essence here.
